Its kinda a vacation week. But, I am still able to get a little work done. After sanding the heel to shape, I tape off the frets so I can file a 35 degree bevel into the side of the frets:
I then start working on the peghead. I am going to put a chamfor/bevel on the edge to expose the underlying white and black veneers. This will add a little flare and design to it:
then I sand to 220 the whole neck. After sanding, I finish by filling the fret slot ends with rosewood dust and superglue. When it dries, I will sand it back and check if its filled. If satisfied I will do the other side:
