Today

This week I was off on monday and tuesday. I decided to let the parlor sit until monday to harden. This way I can put a body glove on the back and not worry that it will leave an impression in the finish. Once the body glove is on I can french polish the soundboard.

In the meantime I can do more sanding on the electric. Almost finished with the top:

On the back I decided that I needed to speed up the process. The front took me a few sessions and I think 10 hours to sand back to wood. I decided to speed uo the process and use a scraper through the poly until I get to the black layer:

At 4:30 the owner of the double neck called and is on the way to pick up the instrument. I will close up shop and continue on the electric tomorrow:
