The end of another week

I finished fitting the joint and drilling out the holes for the barrel nuts and screws:

I now need to carve some of the cheeks away on the heel and make it look more like a heel:

after I am satisfied on how much I carve away, I then need to glue on the fretboard. I drill in some registration pins and also install the truss rod:

I then dry fit all the cauls I will use and set aside the clamps I will use:

I also tape off the fretboard extension so no glue gets on it:
