Well, the body and neck are together. It was time to glue in the headstock inlay. After gluing and sanding flush, I need to blow out the sanding dust and fill in any gaps:
I also need to check the angle of the neck. I have to check if the neck is running straight along the centerline as planned. I checked.. .. and as planned it is. I also need to check to see if the height over the bridge area is acurate. I planned for a .35 bridge and .15 exposed saddle. The plane over the frets should extend slightly under the top of the bridge. I checked and It's at the top of the bridge. This is good. A 3/16 exposed saddle will create a normal action over the low E of 6/64ths:
Now I can put "Mandy" into the repair station and do some fretwork. I will need to do a fret level and crowning and also, dress the fret ends:
