Fret slots

After taping the template to the fretboard I start sawing the 0 fret:

The slot was 5/32 deep:

This is a little deep. I will adjust the guides so the real slots are 3/32 deep. The 0 slot is where the nut will be. I will cut all the way through later to leave a perfect shelf to butt against the nut.

After adjustment I saw the first fret:

After finishing I have to layout the feetboard. I mark the nut width and the 14th fret width:
